Musician Phil Collen got married on Friday—no, not the similarly-sounding Phil Collins from Genesis.
Collen, the guitarist from the rock band Def Leppard, wed costume designer Helen L. Simmons on a beach at the Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach in Florida, People magazine reported. Guests at the ceremony included Def Leppard members Rick Savage and Vivian Campbell.
The bride was adorned in an Adele Wechsler gown, while the groom wore a J. Lindeberg suit.
Both Collen, 52, and Simmons, 42, met during Def Leppard’s “Sparkle Lounge” tour two years ago.
Hank Cochran , a singer and songwriter who wrote major hits for Patsy Cline , Burl Ives and Eddy Arnold and whose songs appeared on the country charts for more than four decades, died Thursday at his home in Hendersonville, Tenn., near Nashville.
